Helena Preston

Biography

Helena is SLR’s resource on nutrient neutrality issues, and the interface between hydrology and Biodiversity Net Gain. Helena is also responsible for managing and undertaking flood risk assessments (FRA) in accordance with NPPF, TAN15, and SPP guidance and preparing surface water drainage plans for insurers, residential and commercial, infrastructure and energy developments throughout the UK. Helena has prepared Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments for inland and marine sites, and has advised on hydrological issues as they relate to ecological assessments.
