Alison Kemp

Biography

Ali is an experienced project manager and director largely focused on waste delivery infrastructure from strategy through to construction. She works for a range of clients, often on large scale and complex projects, coordinating the teams and skills required to ensure that the delivery meets with the high standards expected and is achieved on time and to budget. As well as leading the consultancy team, she also works closely with the client, providing strategic advice and supporting the wider team, including specialist technical disciplines, external consultants, and the supply chain.

Ali has recent experience of working with both local authority and private sector clients on large scale waste delivery projects for both collection and processing, providing significant management, technical and commercial input from site and strategic assessments and feasibility studies through to design, procurement, technology due diligence and construction. Technologies range from HWRC’s, depots, WTS, MRF, and anaerobic digestion through to energy from waste with CHP offtake. This includes technology due diligence, layout design, developing contract documentation, inputting to technical dialogue meetings and bid evaluation, soft market testing, environmental risk assessments, planning and EIA, operational model review, and input to decarbonisation and sustainability aspects.
